Rainbee Died
Our little beta fish, Rainbee, died after almost 3 yrs with us. Paige and Grace both cried. We flushed Rainbee down the toilet followed by a family "Amen" as a thank you for God's gift of this wonderful little creature. Based on the movie "Finding Nemo" where a fish is flushed from the toilet to the ocean, Grace figured Rainbee would be heading to the ocean. Grace remembered that Julie Weiss lives by the ocean in FL, so she said, "Julie (Weiss) can take care of Rainbee now."

Hi Grace,
I'm so sorry to hear that Rainbee died. He was a very special fish. I loved the way he was always looking out at the world. I think he even got excited when I visited. What do you think?
Hope you had a good day. We had our first rain...I hope that means that Spring is on the way. I heard a cardinial and a chickadee singing (Chickadees are the ones who sing, Fee Bee, Fee Bee!) Have you ever heard one? It means that Spring is on the way when the birds start to call their girlfriends.
Or maybe it was just on Valentines Day that they do that. What do you think?
Grandma is silly isn't she.
Take care and know that I love you very much. It won't be too much longer and I will see you at the cabin. We are going to have fun.
Love, XXXXOOOOO
Grandma Kathy
I love you Grandma Kathy! I always want you to come to my house. At the cabin, I want to see Bumpa! I am good. I love Papa!
Love, Grace
XOXOXO
